Brand new snow tyres
Ula had been waiting for only fifteen minutes, but she was already getting impatient. Timothy had texted her half an hour ago, saying he was near the station where they were supposed to meet. But he was nowhere to be seen. Ula was getting more and more worried. She was a type of person who would panic quite easily. Various things were crossing her mind at that moment. The weather was really bad that morning. Perhaps Tim had lost his way in the snowstorm? Maybe his car skidded as he was driving along the lane? He had told her that he had fitted it with quality snow tyres, recommended by specialists in his country. But the truth was, the climate in the UK was much milder, so how could THEIR specialists know what"s best for Swiss weather? If the tyres were not good enough, Tim might find the roads here really slippery and difficult to drive on, which was rather dangerous for him and other drivers. What if he had had an accident? Oh no, Ula could not think like that. She reprimanded herself immediately. His snow tyres were really excellent and he was a brilliant driver. He would be there in five minutes, she would get into his car, kiss him and they would drive to her small house in the suburbs, where they were supposed to live together forever.
